Andrew Charlton was a senior economic advisor to former Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd. During his run in politics, Charlton also served as Australia’s senior economic representative to the G20 Leaders Forum. Charlton earned his illustrious political posts after demonstrating his economic knowledge throughout his long academic career. In 2000, Charlton earned a B.Ec in Accounting, Finance, and Economics from the University of Sydney.
He also earned first-class honors in Economics and won the University of Sydney’s University Medal in Economics. These honors, as well as becoming a Rhodes Scholar in 2001, helped him get into Oxford University in London, to study Economics.

Fair Trade for All has since been translated into 13 different languages since its publication by Oxford University Press in 2005.
